September 13 Adams Thrivent Chapter Annual Meeting

This will be a Tailgate Party theme before the evening that the Packers play on national TV. Thrivent meets at 4:00 pm Sunday, September 13, 2009.

Come to the Adams Community Center. It is free to All Thrivent for Lutherans members and their guests.

Program Highlights include a Tailgate Supper, Election of Officers, Live Music from the Boards and Bamboo group who play Indonesian Angklung (bamboo bells) and Kulintang (member of marimba family, so 'boards'), and great Door Prizes.

National Board of Directors Election - You Get to Vote!

This year, we are again conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is a benefit of your membership in our fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials. Please participate - your vote matters!

From holding a community-wide auction to raise funds for a child with cancer, to building a handicap-accessible play area at a local park, our members make a difference every day through our chapter system.

31 activities were conducted by the Adams County WI Chapter, resulting in 11,364 volunteer hours. Funds raised by these local teams totaled $24,724, which were combined with $21,623 from Thrivent Financial to multiply the good we can do together.
