| Chapter Leader Election Invitation | | South King County Chapter | | |
Sunday, November 21 is the day set for our South King County Chapter Leader elections for 2011. There is one election site: the White River Valley Museum - 918 "H" Street SE, Auburn 98002 (http://www.wrvmuseum.org/). Election meeting will be open from 1 to 3 PM. (The museum is open from Noon to 4 PM.) A table will be set up in the entry way and staffed by a current member of the Chapter Board. As an added incentive, the Chapter will cover the cost of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members who would like to visit the museum at the same time. Why should you vote in this election? The Chapter leaders are given the charge to help the members of the Chapter connect in service. Through yearly elections the members of our Chapter have direct input in the directions they wish activities to move forward. Your involvement in sharing this story and involving the Thrivent members in your congregation is what makes this work. Thank you for all that you are doing!
Details: *Date: November 21 from 1 to 3 PM at White River Valley Museum, Auburn *The election area will be visible – look for a sign reading “Chapter Leader Election Meeting”. *Thrivent members will receive their ballots in this mailing. Please bring with you. If it is misplaced, an extra ballot will be available. *Remember that you are required to vote in person at your election event. *All benefit and associate members of Thrivent can vote. For questions, contact Mark Gause (megause@aol.com) / 253-351-0450.
