| 2009 Wrap-up and 2010 Preparations |
There are only a few months left in 2009 to get your Care in Congregations Activities and your Care Abounds in Communities Activities wrapped up and final reports submitted. Make sure to get it all done as soon as you can, so the funds are received by your service teams in a timely manner. As happens every year, Chapter Leadership Board Members are elected for the following calendar year in October and November. Each congregation in the chapter has the opportunity to host an election event, and will be reimbursed up to $250 for event expenses. If you are unable to vote at your church, please feel free to attend another election event among the Mid King County Chapter Churches and place your vote. Election Event times and locations will be published soon.
2010 is quickly approaching, and with it there will be some changes in the programs that are offered by Thrivent. We are looking forward to learning about the changes as they are introduced, and helping service teams and congregations navigate the new year. You are invited and encouraged to join us during this exciting time.
