However, we have a great group of people, dedicated to getting the most out of your Thrivent financial dollar. Chapter meetings take place on the FIRST Wednesday of the month at one of two locations. This is a change from years past. Contact a chapter leader for the location of that month's meeting. At the monthly meeting updates are received regarding Thrivent, projects are discussed and approved, and additional events are planned and discussed.
| East King County Chapter of Thrivent and Thrivent Builds |
Once again the East King County Chapter of Thrivent and Habitat for Humanity have entered into a partnership. Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity. The big news? This year we will be building one ADA home and one two-story home! Both builds present the Thrivent Builds team with some exciting challenges, and the capable team headed by Doug Copley is gearing up to meet them! The Accelerated Build timeline of 2008 was so successful it will be implemented once again. The total amount of time to build a home (not including the pre and post-build times) expect to be 8 - 12 weeks. Bob Spencer is stepping into the role of Chapter Specialist, which means he is the link between Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humaniey and our Thrivent Chapter. He is hoping to encourage even more congregational involvement in the builds than in the past and will be contacting Congregational Coordinators soon. Get in touch with Bob (bob@spencerred.org) (425-487-4019) if you want to sign your church or group up now for some build time!
