Douglas County OR Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is assisting with a Bone Marrow Donor Drive on November 11 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 750 W. Keady Ct., Roseburg. One of St. Paul's members, Pete Nissila, is in need of a Bone Marrow transplant and undergoing treatment in Roseburg and at OHSU in Portland. We are looking for volunteers to help register donors on that day. Also, if you are between the ages of 18 & 60, please consider being a donor. All you need to do is come to St. Paul on the 11th between the hours of 10 am & 4 pm to register and get a simple cheek swab. You may help save Pete's life or many others.
