Your new chapter leader board of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is already off and running for 2006. The first board meeting of the New Year will be held at noon in Rockport January 14, 2006 at the Java Bay Café. Get those funding request in and get started on your service team’s Care Abounds In Communities® activities. Send those request to any chapter board member. Contact any of the board members listed in the “Meet Your Chapter Board for 2006” list. It is anticipated that we will receive the allocation of funds for the Gulf Coast Chapter by mid January.
.....is scheduled for February 18, 2006 at St. John Lutheran Church in Calallen. The training session will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude after lunch with a question and answer period. All congregational coordinators are encouraged to attend. Those churches that show up with all three congregational coordinators in attendance will be rewarded. Please announce this in church, and bring a friend who wants to volunteer to help your congreation in 2006.
