| Thank you Out Going Members of the Board |
A very special THANK YOU to Diane Smith. Diane has served as our Vice President for the past two years. Her humor and hugs will be missed. And a very special THANK YOU to Debra Sloan. Debra has served as Assistant Financial Director for the past year. Her smiles and kind words will be missed.
| Thank you Congregational Coordinators |
The great work that Thrivent Financial is able to accomplish throughout the Coastal Bend is largely due to the hard work of ALL of the Congregational Coordinators and those who assist them. THANK YOU -- ONE AND ALL. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS EACH OF YOU.

Through the Care in Congregations® chapter Care program, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans provides funding for Thrivent Financial members to conduct fund-raising activities and/or hands-on service activities to benefit a congregation or its school / day care. Members are encouraged to help the congregation in it's ministry to the community. Funding comes directly from Thrivent Financial to the congregational service team's congregation. Some congregations are without Congregational Coordinators. WOULD YOU LIKE TO VOLUNTEER AS A CONGREGATIONAL COORDINATOR through the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Care in Congregations® program? Three congregational coordinators are required to help administer the program and initiate funding requests for the activities. If you are interested in serving as a congregational coordinator in your church, contact (Ida Hansen -- jbhansen@awesomenet.net)
The members of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Chapter of Thrivent wish each and every one of you a very Blessed Christmas and a Holy New Year.
