Galveston County Chapter of Thrivent Financial Lutheran Board meetings will be in a different location and at a different time and date in 2007. Meetings will be on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 P. M. at the business office of the treasurer Sheryl Hollond. The office is located on Highway 3 in Dickinson on the street directly behind the Sonic Drive In. The address is The address is 4417 Illinois, Dickinson 77539. The first meeting will be January 25, 2007
Information will be updated on line from Thrivent for 2007 for Congregation Coordinators and for Care in Congregation® Funds. Be sure you keep up to date on all the latest possibilities in use of the fund. As you go on line to Thrivent check the left side of the screen for Tutorial/ Quick Reference. If you click on this you will be guided to selections that will be most helpful to you.
If it is necessary to name any new Congregational Coordinators for a church in the chapter, names and Thrivent numbers should be reported to a member of the Galveston County Chapter Board. There must be three coordinators for each congregation. Coordinators are approved by the board and also submitted to the Thrivent home office. Please notify the board if there are changes.
