GALVESTON COUNTY CHAPTER ELECTION DATE - MARK YOUR CALENDARS.

The Galveston County Election for the Board of Directors Meeting will be held at Memorial Lutheran, 2021 29th St. in Texas City from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 4. This is the new location for Memorial. Mexican food will be served.

It is very important that ALL officers, congregational coordinators and as many members as possible attend this meeting. If you or someone you know might be interested in holding a Chapter office contact Jon Mietzen 832-689-9882 or Ruby Reviere 281-482-2464. Nominations will be accepted from the floor if the prior approval is received from the candidate. All elected chapter leadership positions are considered “open positions” each year, even though there may be some members who have not completed their four consecutive terms.

For the Galveston County Chapter to continue in operation five basic officers are required.
President - Candidate for position is Cheryl Holland
Vice President - Candidate for the position is Ruby Reviere
Financial Direction - No candidate at this time
Records Director - Claudean Smith
Congregational Service Team Director- Dolores Taylor

Assistant Financial Director - No candidate at this time
Communtiy Service Team Director - Pattye Morton
Communications Director - No candidate at this time
Events Director - No candidate at this time
Youth Director - No candidate at this time

National Board of Directors Election - You Get to Vote!

This year, we are again conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is a benefit of your membership in our fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials. Please participate - your vote matters!
