CHAPTER POLICIES FOR CARE ABOUNDS IN COMMUNITES PROJECTS

For 2009 policies have been established to provide opportunities for congregations to serve their communities.  Chapter leaders desire to have as many church congregations that are in the chapter as possible to assist their own communities.  The policies will guide this process.

Policy One:  Projects for each Congregation Area will be considered for up to $800.  (This would mean $9600 would be spent if each Congregation Area submitted a request)  Each Congregation may request more and should number them according to preference for consideration.  If a Congregation Area does not apply by June 1, then at the June meeting all projects  submitted will be considered.

Additional Policy:  The projects will be submitted to  Community Serve Team Director at the meeting prior to approval.  (Only projects which would need immediate or emergency approval would be given consideration at the same meeting that they are presented to the Community Service Team Director.)  The Community Service Team Director will give a brief summation of the project before consideration for approval.
