Elections 2004
Election time is upon us.  Have you thought about who your Chapter Leaders will be in 2005?


It's now time to think about elections.  While the nation will be electing a president, you need to be thinking about your Thrivent leadership as well.  Have you considered being on the Chapter Board or serving as a Congregational Coordinator?


We are currently seeking officers to serve on the board.  The time needed is minimal and gratification is ten fold.  A complete description of each position can be seen on the Thrivent web-site. It is better for the Chapter to have leadership from the entire area.  This helps to make sure that the board is aware of all the needs in the area.  Chapter leadership elections need to be completed and turned in to the Home Office before November 30.  Deadline for nominations is October 30th.  Ballots will be made up and sent to each congregation.  It is suggested that you hold your elections on November 14 and get them to your Chapter Leader as soon as possible.


This is an excellent time to hold elections for Congregational Coordinators.  They are the voice that lets the Chapter Board know what the needs are and makes sure that the Board is informed on completion of all activities.  Coordinators for the 2005 year must be in place before January 1st.


A Chapter Newsletter will go out showing all that have been nominated to serve on the Board for 2005.  However, that information can be accessed on the web page immediately.


Ballots need to be returned to President Jerry Lohr to validate the counts and make sure that all results are turned in to the Home Office.


A December Chapter Newsletter will be sent out showing the election results.
