Upcoming Events for North ALabama Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
LUTHERAN NIGHT AT THE STARS - June 11, 2004
Get your tickets from your Thrivent Financial congregational coordinator or from Frank Childs - cost is only $5.00 each.
The Huntsville Stars will be playing the Birmingham Barons.  Starting time is 7:05 PM.
Stay and watch the fireworks presented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
Free access to the Thrivent Financial Skybox.     Bring a school kit for kids, which is an Enrich
program.  These kits should include 2 pencils, 1 pen, 1 gum eraser, 1 small bottle of washable
white glue or washable clue stick, 1 ruler, 1 pair of blunt scissors, 1 box of colored pencils, and
1 box of crayons. Enrich also needs new magic markers, colored paper, finger paints, and
stickers that indicate good performance.


Note:  The Tailgate party at Grace has been cancelled for this year- due to schedule conflicts.




CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP
On Sunday, November 14, 2004, all junior and senior youth and  advisors from all area Lutheran Churches are invited to participate in this Focal project.  Time will be from 4-7 PM at Grace Lutheran Church in the Gym area.  We will be wrapping presents, bake & decorate cookies for service men, make
favors for Meals on Wheels, and bring filled shoe boxes for Samaritan purse. Pizza and soda will be
served after all projects completed.  If any questions, please contact Charlene Lechner at
