Chapter Elections will be held in each church between September 1 and November 30. The Congregational Advocates will have received a copy of the ballots that they have been asked to distribute, collect after the voting, and report the votes to Chapter Vice President Nancy M Lyste, 13218 15th St NE Sharon, ND 58277-9013 (701) 524-2063 cnlyste@mlgc.com. Nancy says just drop her email with your church election results… there is no need to mail the ballots to her. If the Advocates haven't received the ballots they should contact Nancy for the information. Thank you Advocates for your service this year.

There will be space for a write-in person for each of the offices. If you do write-in a person be sure they are a Thrivent member AND willing to serve.

National Board of Directors Election

You're a member with a voice. Let's hear it.

This year, we are again conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is a benefit of your membership in our fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials.

OTHER CHAPTER NEWS... Our chapter directed $8985 to assist families and individuals in need this year. The following benefits were awarded funds: Sandra Gotfredson, Erica Rose, Ronald Sorbo, Shelby Carlson, Marlene Skjeret, Todd Ellefson, Matt Holth, Beth Stokka, Patty Stokka and Alna Vincent. Benefits for these individuals raised over $54,000. Thanks to all who made this possible!
