THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE CHAPTER ELECTIONS
We would like to thank all of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members who took the time in October and November to vote in the local chapter elections through their churches. 17 congregations participated and our member voting numbers remain one of the highest in the region! The current Leadership Board is pleased to return for 2006 to continue serving you. We believe it will be a strength for our county to have an experienced Leadership Board. We continue to welcome your involvement and your thoughts on how we can best be of service to you. Feel free to contact any of us:

2005 THRIVENT CARE PROJECTS
We look forward in the new year to reporting to you a total value for the impact that the Ozaukee County Chapter of Thrivent Financial achieved in 2005. As of our year end, we can already report that we have been pleased to work with great service teams of Thrivent Financial members on over 70 activities benefiting a more varied number of charities and non-profits within Ozaukee County and the greater Milwaukee area in 2005. The beneficiaries have included our local Lutheran schools, Ozaukee Council, Saukville Boy Scouts, Portal Industries, and the ALS Association of SE Wisconsin. As we look forward to 2006, we encourage all Ozaukee County Chapter of Thrivent Financial members to consider how they can get involved on a Care Abounds in Communities® or a Care in Congregations® service team. Contact us and let us tell you how you can become involved and "Make a Difference."
ATTENTION CONGREGATIONAL COORDINATORS
Please mark the date of February 21, 2006 at 7pm to attend a Congregational Coordinator Gathering at Concordia University Wisconsin. Training will be provided, as well as time for congregations to share with each other regarding what is working for them. All CC's and anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a Congregational Coordinator are invited to attend. Watch future mailings for more details.
Loving Father, help us to remember the birth of Jesus, That we may share in the song of the angels, The gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the Wise Men. Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, And teach us to be merry with clear hearts. May the Christmas morning make us happy to be Thy children, And the Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, Forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake. Amen! - Robert Louis Stevenson MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM YOUR OZAUKEE COUNTY CHAPTER LEADERSHIP BOARD !!!!
