| 2011 CHOICE DOLLARS: DON'T THROW YOURS AWAY!! |
You have until MAR. 31, 2012 to put your Choice Dollars to work! You may do any of the following to help direct your Choice Dollars. You can go to Thrivent.com, call your Financial Associate for help or dial 1-800-236-3736 at Thrivent. Then say, THRIVENT CHOICE. You'll talk to someone who can assist you.
Choice Dollars may be directed to several Lutheran organizations or to just one of your choice. Should you direct it to your church, you may suggest to your Congregational Advocate about your wishes. These Choice Dollars can be used to help out an organization and also for areas of need within the organization. (youth groups, church quilters, womens' groups, Bible School, missions, special church projects, altar guild, music. etc.) .
Through Sept. 30, 2011, Choice Dollars amounting to $60,128 have been directed to our Chapter churches and organizations. This amount does not include Choice Dollars given to other Lutheran institutions like LWR, Social Services or Lutheran schools.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE! DIRECT YOUR CHOICE DOLLARS TO STRENGTHEN AREAS IN NEED!
| CONGREGATIONAL ADVOCATES NEEDED! |
Each church is allowed up to eight advocates. Only one church has achieved this. The job is not hard. This volunteer position, appointed by the Thrivent Financial chapter leadership board, will assume the primary responsibility of connecting with Thrivent Financial members, congregational leadership and congregational members to understand their needs, while partnering with Thrivent Financial representatives and chapter leadership to identify and execute charitable, educational and social solutions to meet those needs.
If you are a benefit member of Thrivent Financial, you will be able to participate in directing Thrivent Choice Dollars and will be designated an amount of Choice Dollars for serving in the role.

Our Swift-Big Stone County Chapter has been blessed to raise over $116,000 during 28 various activities involving over 10,000 volunteer hours this past year. We want to thank each of you who has helped make this possible. Many families and organizations have been helped through your generous efforts.
It is heart warming to see so many people from all walks of life come together to combine their talents and efforts toward worthy causes. That community spirit builds hope and mutual understanding. The benefits of our efforts can never be totally calculated.
