We had a good start up this year on our activities and the dispensing of funds available for the Northern Utah area.  There are still funds available, so if you have a community project that needs help please contact a board member so it can be considered.

How to help your congregation
 Did you know that Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has a program called "Care in Congregations®" where funding is provided to Thrivent Financial members to conduct fund-raising and/or hands-on service activities to benfit your congregation or its related Lutherans Institutions?  In fact, Thrivent Financial members are encouraged to us the funds to help the congregation in its ministry to the community.
 If you see a need in your congregation that could be helped through the funding, please contact a Thrivent Financial congregation coordinator in your congregation.  The coordinators are listed in this newsletter.
