The Northern Utah Board of Thrivent has been very busy. Supplemental funds have been approved for the LCMS youth group of Holy Trinity in Logan to attend the youth gathering in New Orleans in the summer; for Elim Lutheran in Ogden sponsoring Sub for Santa to help multiple needy families; for a pancake breakfast in December at Ascension Lutheran in North Ogden to benefit the preschool there. Some projects already completed are Youth Yard Sale, Friendly Ties Quilting Group and Showcase Sales. The board purchased the pew pencils and napkins for the coffee hours for all seven Lutheran Churches in Northern Utah. Funds for CAIC are still available for the remainder of the year.
