2nd Qtr Chapter Newsletter published.

Events and Congregational Coordinator report by Becky and Arlene:

  • Congregational coordinator event was well received 9 congregations attended with 11 coordinators/5 Thrivent representatives were there as well as 6 Chapter Board Members for a total of 23 attendants
    Arlene needs to find coordinators for 2 churches

Operating Funds expenses - Locally Supported Activities

  • $352 Entertainment bks gifted to coordinators at 4/2 training - it was approved to reimburse OPAFC from operating funds
  • $50.00 confirmation recognitions: 9 churches - Risen Savior reported

New Business/Requests ($13,030 uncommitted program funds as of 4/12/05)
Approved

  • Up to $800 TPC will match 50¢ on the dollar - Prayer Walk - Urban Service Corp Denver
  • Up to $1500 Twin Peaks Chapter will match - (4/9) Parents Day Out - Ezeonu family fund raiser
  • Up to $800 TPC will match - North LHS (9/10) 4th annual co-ed Softball Tournament (multiple chapters)
  • Up to $1000 TPC will match 50¢ on the dollar -Sweet Dreams Banquet (9/29) NLHS
  • Up to $1000 TPC will match American Cancer Society Relay for Life (5/10) Beyer Team (Bethlehem)
  • Up to $800 TPC will match 50¢ on the dollar -  BSLS PTL Walkathon (5/19) Beautiful Savior Lutheran School PTL

Requested not approved

  • $2500 Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church & School lawn Sprinkler system
  • $1600 Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church & School concrete pad
  • The Board felt these activities were church related and not care in communities
