Meeting was called to order by all who attended.
New Chapter Member acceptance was tabled until August meeting.
Minutes of June meeting were reviewed and accepted.
Financial Report was reviewed and accepted
Becky reported on the Pig Roast. Which will be held July 30 at Faith
Community Lutheran Church in Longmont from 1-5 p.m. The pig has been
order as well as the side dishes extra beans have been added and
barbeque sauce (for Ed). Becky will be going to SAMS to get bread,
cookies and drink mix. Linda has ordered plates, cups and napkins and
will deliver to Becky. We will again give the Bluegrass band and Faith
Community a $100 stipend each. Bouncing Castle and clowns have been
scheduled. Local Thrivent Reps will be setting up tables as well. Mark
will also have a sign up sheet for the up coming elections.
NEW BUSINESS
Request for the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Lutheran Church of South
Africa has been received (Walking to Seminary activity). It was decided
to grant the request of $1000 (1/1). A suggestion was made that
participants of the Zone Rally write letters to the students at the
seminary.

Discussion was held about the Join Hands Day event and how we can get
the paperwork and receipts so that they can be submitted before August
1. Becky Nichols will talk with Kevin Hischke on Sunday. Kevin Wilaby
from North Lutheran High School stated that he gave all the receipts and
a report on the activity to Kevin Hischke. Lutheran High School
Association has not received any receipts for payment to go toward the
$500 pre-funding given for the NOFRY event.
