  • Linda is still waiting for a few churches to report on their Confirmation funds when the activity took place. Arlene will talk with the congregations and find out this information.
  • Cross of Christ only church lacking all 3 coordinators (they have 2)

NEW BUSINESS/REQUESTS ($2146 uncommitted program funds as of 9/8/05)

  • Request for $1100 – Rejoice Lutheran Church family assistance – Rejoice Lutheran Social Committee – We have agreed to fund this request $ for $. Ed Allen will find out if they have any congregational funds left, if so we will ask them to use some of that, otherwise we will fund up to $1100.00 [check revealed congregation funds are committed]
  • Chapter Leader Conference Call – 6:45pm 9/15/05
  • Hurricane Katrina - http://www.thrivent.com/fraternal/katrina.html
  • Colorado Holiday Creek Walk request for $1300.00 activity date is 12/17/2005. This is a hands on activity. It was approved for up to $1000.00

2006 Board Elections – VP Mark Moore

  • Mark reported that he does not have any candidates. All the members he has contacted have declined.
  • Elections will take place on November 13th at Longmont Museum from 2pm-4pm and Broomfield Applebees on November 20th from 2pm-4pm
  • Mark will put together a bulletin announcement and send to the congregations for their newsletters and bulletins.
  • Linda will get (2) $50.00 gift certificates for Local restaurants as door prizes for each venue.
  • The cost for the Longmont museum is $60.00 and Applebees is the cost of the desserts that we purchase.
  • Ed will e-mail Mark the Churches e-mail addresses and Arlene will e-mail Mark the congregational coordinators e-mail addresses to enable Mark to communicate elections plans to them.
