Meeting was called to order by Vice President Becky Nichols. Connie Allen led us in devotions.

The minutes for December 12, 2005 and January 12, 2006 meetings were reviewed. A motion to approve was made by Connie Allen and seconded by Linda Thompson. Motion was passed.

The review of the financial report was tabled until the March meeting.

Linda Thompson made a motion to accept new chapter member through February 8, 2006. The motion was seconded by Connie Allen and passed.

Officer Reports:
Thrivent Builds Specialist – Jim Hein gave us a reported on the Thrivent Build project at 1632 Summit in Longmont. Jim and his team are visiting churches looking for financial support, volunteer help and congregational champion, the main resource and coordinator at each congregation. Jim continues to visit congregations within the chapter.

Assistant Financial Director – Linda Thompson gave the report in Harriet Couillard absence. The Audit needs to be completed by February 28th. Becky Nichols and Ed Allen are searching for the Audit committee. Linda and Harriet will research options for a laptop and high speed internet connection.

It was determined the Records Director will input all funding requests and the Treasurer will close upon satisfactory completion and report to the Leadership Board.

Congregational Coordinator training has been scheduled with Roberta Wentworth for Saturday, April 29th. We are checking on holding the training at Eternal Savior from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Noon). Ed will be sending a post card for “save the date” purposes with more communications to follow. Connie Allen will handle the refreshments and determine needs for paper products. Incentives for congregational coordinators attending were tabled for further discussion.

Funding Requests:
Messiah Lutheran Church and School – Love and Logic University tabled. Organizers are invited to the next Chapter Leadership Board meeting to present this proposal before a vote will be taken.

The Solid Education Foundation – 3rd Annual Chili Cook off request was approved for a $1 for $2 raised match up to $1,600.00 from care abounds in community funds. A multiple chapter form will also need to be completed. The Records Director will be responsible for notifying the requestors of approval. Ed will send a sample communication.

The Records Director will also be in charge of the quarterly newsletter until a Communications Director can found.

Becky Nichols would like to invite congregational coordinators to our monthly Leadership Board meetings. She would also like to investigate the possibility of names tags for chapter leaders.

Next Meeting is scheduled for March 9th at 6:30 pm at Eternal Savior Lutheran Church in Lafayette, CO
