The meeting was called to order by Mark Moore. Connie Allen offered an opening prayer.

Roll Call:
Mark Moore – President
Connie Allen – Events Director and her husband Ed Allen – Board Advisor
Harriet Couillard – Financial Director and her husband Dave Couillard
Nancy Timm – Records Director
Heather Morgan – Financial Representative

A motion to accept new members from May 11 – June 7, 2006 was made by Connie Allen and seconded by Harriet Couillard and passed unanimously.

A motion to accept the minutes without correction for the May meeting was made by Harriet Couillard, seconded by Connie Allen and passed unanimously.

The Financial Report was presented by Harriet Couillard and approved by the Board.

A motion appointing Ed Allen into looking for a laptop computer for Chapter use by the Financial Director and allowing a $1,000 of operating funds for the purchase was made by Nancy Timm, seconded by Connie Allen and passed unanimously.

The topic concerning the replacement of the Congregational Coordinator at First Lutheran in Longmont was tabled until Arlene Skaggs the Congregational Service Team Director was in attendance.

The arrangements and details for the upcoming Chapter Pig Roast and Picnic was reviewed and discussed. The Pig Roast will be in the 2nd quarter newsletter with a link for directions to the Willow Creek Park. A suggestion was made to assemble the Firefighter kits (our 2nd Join Hands Day Project) at the picnic. This will be brought to Linda Thompson’s attention for consideration.

Old Business:
The Board reviewed the pre-approval of the Mission Festival Sunday at Risen Savior Lutheran Church with a matching of $1 for every $2 raised up to $1,600.00.

New Business:
Friends of Good Shepherd McGregor Golf Tournament
A motion to assist with $1 for $1 matching up to $500 was made by Connie Allen, seconded by Harriet Couillard and passed. The Records Director will review the number of households in sufficient for each chapter and ask for a Multi Chapter Funding form in communications.

Harold Huff Building Project - Phase II Handicap accessible
This is a hands-on service project. A motion to assist with $1,000 of expense was made by Harriet Couillard, seconded by Connie Allen and passed.

Scandinavian Midsummer Festival – First Lutheran Senior High Youth Group
A motion to assist with a matching of $1 for every $2 raised up to $500 was made by Connie Allen, seconded by Nancy Timm and passed.

A discussion followed about realigning two churches currently in the chapter with Heather Morgan, Thrivent Financial representative. The Board suggested the churches ask the chapter to be realigned. Any realignment should take place at the end of the fiscal period for a smooth transition.

The next meeting is scheduled for July 13th at 6:30 pm at Eternal Savior.
