Opening prayer – President, Mark Moore

Called to order by Mark Moore at 6:35 pm.

Roll Call:
Mark Moore, President
Harriet and Dave Couillard, Financial Director and her husband
Linda Thompson, Assistant Financial Director
Becky Nichols, Vice President
Nancy Timm, Records Director
Arlene Skaggs, Congregational Service Team Director and Acting Secretary

The minutes for the October meeting were reviewed and approved. Review of new members was tabled until the December meeting.

Volunteer hours for the month of September include: Mark Moore -3, Becky Nichols – 12, Harriet Couillard – 25, Nancy Timm – 20, Arlene Skaggs - 15.

A motion to accept the financial reports was made by Becky Nichols and seconded by Linda Thompson.

Congregational Service Team Director reported 9 congregations have not used their allotted Care in Congregations funding. Reminders will be given to the congregations.

Elections will be held on November 12th at the Museum in Longmont and December 3rd at the Applebee’s in Broomfield. Elections will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Each board member leaving the board is responsible in finding a replacement. Gifts certificates were purchased as door prizes for each location.

Thrivent Builds
The Habitat for Humanity store has opened in Longmont.

Old Business
A motion was made by Arlene Skaggs to give the remaining $182 from Program funds to the Messiah Lutheran School fund raiser. Becky seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

New Business
Connie Allen, Events Coordinator should start planning the Board’s annual dinner for January.

The next meeting is scheduled for December 14th. With no other business the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 pm.
