Opening prayer – President, Mark Moore

Called to order by Mark Moore at 6:40 pm.

Roll Call:
Mark Moore, President
Ed Allen, Financial Director
Bob Mohling, Vice President

Tom Cree, Congregational Service Team Director
Bruce Tveten, Financial Representative
Glenn Uecker, Financial Representative

The minutes for the January meeting were reviewed and approved. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Ed Allen and seconded by Tom Cree. The motion passed unanimously. Review of new members was tabled until the March 2007 meeting.

Volunteer hours for the month of February include: Mark Moore -2, Bob Mohling – 1, Ed Allen – 6, Nancy Timm – 12, Tom Cree - 5. The volunteer hours for the Leadership Training on February 3rd and the Audit on February 10th were reported separately.

The financial reports were reviewed. The Chapter’s financial records have been set up on Quicken on the Chapter’s laptop. The 2006 Audit has been completed and filed with Thrivent.

Congregational Service Team Director reported training for the respective congregational coordinators will be held on February 17th in cooperation with the Flat Irons Chapter of Boulder.

Old Business
A motion to reimburse Front Range Financial Group for the expense of 2 Thrivent table throw covers at $126 each or a total of $252 was made by Tom Cree, seconded by Bob Mohling and passed unanimously.

A motion to purchase one fraternal banner for use by the Front Range Financial Group at coffee hours and seminars in the amount of $390 was made by Mark Moore, seconded by Bob Mohling and passed unanimously.

A motion to reimburse the Front Range Financial Group $300 for the expense of the banner stand was made by Bob Mohling, seconded by Mark Moore and passed unanimously.

The 4th Annual Chili Cook off sponsored by The Solid Education Foundation was approved.

New Business
A motion to approve a funding request from Bethlehem Lutheran Church and their work with the 9Health Fair as a Hands On service activity was made for $400 by Ed Allen, seconded by Mark Moore and passed unanimously.

A motion to support the Boulder County Evangelism Workshop Conference for $200 from operating funds for expenses related to the conference including food and supplies but not expenses for speaker or related travel expenses was made by Ed Allen, seconded by Tom Cree and passed unanimously.

Opportunities for the upcoming Join Hands Day programs were discussed including congregational notification.

The next meeting is scheduled for March 15th. With no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
