Opening prayer – President, Mark Moore
Called to order by Mark Moore at 7:00 pm.
Roll Call:

Tom Cree, Congregational Service Team Director
The minutes for the February meeting were reviewed and approved. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Tom Cree and seconded by Mark Moore. The motion passed unanimously. Review of new members was reviewed and approved by motion of Tom Cree and second by Mark Moore.
Volunteer hours for the month of February include: Mark Moore - 3, Ed Mohrman - , Bob Mohling – , Ed Allen – , Nancy Timm – 15, Tom Cree – 3 and Jim Heins - .
The financial reports were reviewed and approved.

New Business
Discussion about the transfer of Christ the Servant to the Flat irons Chapter
was tabled until the next meeting in April.
A ratification to approve a funding request from Cross of Christ Church and their 2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Auction for a $2 for $1 match up to $1,600.00 was accepted by the members present.
A funding request for the Love and Logic University was denied due to the
nature of the expenses asked to cover and the issues we had last year. Barb
Mertens will receive communication explaining the issues and asked to re-submit
her request for Board consideration.
A motion to support Habitat for Humanity Thrivent Builds in Longmont for $500 from operating funds for t-shirts for participants was made by Tom Cree, seconded by Mark Moore and passed unanimously.
Join Hands Day programs:
A funding request from Christ our Savior for a youth painting project and funds
requested was $300 for painting supplies. Tom Cree moved and Mark Moore seconded
a motion to approve this request and it was passed unanimously.
A funding request from Messiah Lutheran Church and School - Board of Ministries to put together “Welcome Bags” for foster children at Lutheran Family Services in the amount of $1,000 was reviewed. A motion by Tom Cree, seconded by Nancy Timm for $500 was passed unanimously.
Remaining Join Hands Funds is $200, but the chapter will welcome and consider other funding requests.
A request from Risen Savior LWML for $100 matching funds from their Lenten supper for the Lutheran Braille Workers, Inc was reviewed. A motion by Nancy Timm, seconded by Tom Cree to match $1 for $1 up to $100 was passed.
Ed Mohrman was designated as the Twin Peaks Chapter representative on the newly formed Regional Advisory Board. He will participate on the quarterly calls held by Roberta Wentworth. Also a brief discussion regarding the Chapter of Excellence criteria was held. Copies of the hallmarks will be passed out at the next meeting for further discussion.
The annual pig roast was tabled until the next meeting.
Mark urged members to respond to the e-mail survey if they had any suggestions.
The next meeting is scheduled for April 19th. With no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
