Opening prayer – President, Mark Moore
Called to order by Mark Moore at 6:30 pm.
Roll Call:
Mark Moore, President
Ed Mohrman, Vice President

Tom Cree, Congregational Service Team Director
Heather Morgan, Financial Rep
The minutes for the March meeting were reviewed and approved. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Mark Moore and seconded by Nancy Timm. The motion passed unanimously. A listing of new members was reviewed and approved.
Volunteer hours for the month of February include: Mark Moore - 3, Ed Mohrman - 100, Bob Mohling – 4, Ed Allen – 4, Nancy Timm – 12, Tom Cree – 137 and Jim Heins - .
The financial reports were reviewed and a motion made by Ed M and seconded by Tom Cree was passed unanimously. Program funds remaining are $19,715 before the business of the evening was reviewed.
Old Business
A motion made by Ed Mohrman and seconded by Tom Cree to support the move of
Christ the Servant to the Flat Irons Chapter now and the move of only Christ the
Servant members at year end. Thrivent members that were not Christ the Servant
members would remain in the Twins Peak Chapter. The motion was approved.
Review of the Thrivent Builds funding was reviewed. Also the information about the purchase of T-shirts was clarified.
Ed Allen will follow up on the approved funding request for the Boulder County Conference Evangelism Workshop.
The funding request for Loren Johnson has been placed on hold.
Ed Mohrman will follow up with Barb Mertens on her funding request for the
Love and Logic University.
New Business
A motion to Life Choices Pregnancy Center project by Immanuel Lutheran Church
and School, in a $1 for $2 match up to $1,600 was made by Ed Mohrman and
seconded by Tom Cree and approved.
A motion to sponsor the Beautiful Savior Lutheran School walk-a-thon in a $1 for $3 matching up to $500, based on satisfactory completion of the multi-chapter worksheet was made by Ed Allen, seconded by Ed Mohrman and passed.
A motion to support the Risen Savior “Mission Festival” and Peggy Hayden’s mission trip to Ghana on a matching of $1 for $2, up to $1,000 was made by Ed Mohrman, seconded by Tom Cree and passed.
Rainbow Trails Lutheran Camp will be encouraged to submit a funding request for their Memorial Day Work Weekend project. The Board will consider granting the funding request upon receipt.
Ed Allen will work with Carol Thompson of Beautiful Savior on the request for matching funds on a bake sale project for the Moran Family. This will complete the Join Hands Day project funding.
A response will be provided to the inquiry by Ginny Allison on behalf of Andy Young and his need for a wheelchair ramp.
July 21st was set for the Chapter’s annual pig roast. Further information pending.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 17th. With no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm.
