Opening prayer – President, Mark Moore

Called to order by Mark Moore at 6:30 pm.

The minutes for the May meeting were reviewed and approved. Review of new members joining the chapter since May 17, 2007 were reviewed and approved.

Volunteer hours for the month of June include: Mark Moore -3, Bob Mohling – 4, Ed Mohrman - 10, Ed Allen – 18, Nancy Timm – 6, Tom Cree -5.

The financial reports were reviewed. Outstanding program funds to date are $15,239. A new format for financial reporting was presented for review.

Congregational Service Team Director reviewed the openings at chapter congregations. One congregation is transferring to the Flat Irons Chapter. One congregation is a mission congregation with limited Thrivent membership. The others congregations are being worked on to bring their coordinators up to 3.

Thrivent Builds had the ground breaking ceremony on the 2nd house in Longmont.

Ed Mohrman reported on the June Teleconference for Chapter Leaders. Funding request summaries by participants should be requested and shared with regional Thrivent leadership.

Old Business
Mark Moore has been in contact with the Boulder county Conference Evangelism Workshop to clarify the final reporting for their funding request. Beca Sager is reviewing and will be back in touch.

Forming a service team for building a wheelchair ramp for Andy Young is still be researched.

Several chapter congregations have responded with reports and receipts for the $50 confirmation gifts granted by the chapter.

Longmont Holiday Creek Walk has had a change in leadership and they will submit the requested Funding request of the chapter at a later date. They have chapter contacts if further questions arise.

Messiah Lutheran’s Welcome bags for Lutheran Family Services Join Hands Day project was reviewed. The Activity contact has been informed how to report the event and claim the Join Hands Day grant.

New Business
Christ our Savior has requested funds for a Bone Marrow Donation Event. The chapter will review this activity further upon receipt of a funding request form. Tom Cree will assist in completing the required paperwork. Review was tabled until the July meeting.

The Twin Peaks Chapter 4th Annual Pig Roast ill be held July 21st from 1 to 4 p.m. The final arrangements were reviewed including hiring a Christian illusionist to perform at the picnic. It was also approved to pay By His Mark $400 for their participation at the festivities. This should prove to be an awesome event.

Other items covered included information received from Roberta Wentworth:
- Nancy Timm will email Roberta about the joint congregational coordinator training held with the Flat Irons Chapter on February 17th.
- The Board will review the 2007 Volunteer Recognition Award information and be able to discuss at the July meeting.
- The Care in Regions project for Holly Colorado was reviewed. Bulletin inserts were distributed to the chapter’s congregations.

The next meeting is scheduled for July 19th. With no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
