Bob Mohling opened with prayer. The meeting was called to order by Ed Mohrman at 6:30 pm.
Roll Call:
Ed Mohrman, President
Bob Mohling, Financial Director
Nancy Timm, Records Director
Tom Cree, Congregational Coordinator
The minutes from October meeting were reviewed. A motion to accept new members since the October 20th meeting was made by Tom Cree, seconded by Bob Mohling and passed. The Thrivent format welcome letter was reviewed. After discussion, a new format will be submitted to Thrivent for review. This will become a new responsibility of the Vice President.
Volunteer hours since October 20th include: Ed Mohrman - 6, Duane Sharp – 4, Bob Mohling – 12, Nancy Timm – 8, Tom Cree –4, and Robert Cotton - ???.
The financial reports were reviewed. Program funds remaining for 2008 are $241 depending on completed projects. Operating funds balance is $666.59. A double payment of $1,000 was made to Sky Ranch in December 2007; a reimbursement of funds is pending by year end. The remaining $800 is related to Samaritan’s Purse and further research is pending.
A proposal was presented by Bob Mohling to complete the year with service team recognition for a total cost of $225 and was approved by the Board.
Thrivent Build Update
We have been awarded a Habitat Home for 2009. Our chapter is proud of our record of raising over $500,000 for 5 Habitat homes for deserving families.
Old Business
We have made good progress on the Chapter of Excellence award. Additional information and events will be added to the website for credit toward our Chapter of Excellence award.

January Leadership Board dinner is in planning phase.

The next meeting is scheduled for December 15th at 6:30 pm. With no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
