JOIN HANDS DAY RESULTS

In May and June each church held its Join Hands Day project. All combined our chapter had a total of 449 volunteer hours, 37 members attending, and a total attendance of 225 volunteers. This made Join Hands Day a huge success once again.

Listed below is what each congregation did for its Join Hands Day projects. Thank you again to all who participated and who organized these events. It is greatly appreciated by many.

Faith Lutheran Thrivent members and community members came together and cleaned up their community and their church area.

St. Mark's Lutheran completed several projects with included trimming rose bushes and polishing brass medallions at the Horizon Hospice Memorial rose garden, helping senior citizens with their yard work, and clearing out weeds for a blind couple.

Hope Lutheran continued their annual Pride in Jackpot Day. Thrivent members and community members came together and spent several hours cleaning up their community.

Immanuel Lutheran also helped elderly residents do their much needed yard work and also spent several hours cleaning up trash along the highway.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

How often have you asked yourself, "What can I do in life to really make a difference?" How often have you seen a need and said, "I wish there was something I could do?" Thrivent Financial for Lutherans gives you an opportunity to make a positive impact right where you live. Now there is something you can do. Get involved and help others by joining the Thrivent Chapter Board. Elections will be taking place in a few months. Please consider joining the Thrivent Team. There are several board members who must leave the board this year. Without board members our chapter will no longer exist and our members and communities will suffer greatly.

UPDATE INFORMATION ONLINE

Have you recently moved or changed your e-mail address or church membership? If yes, you now have an easy and quick way to not only ensure the information Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has on file for you is accurate, but to also update it – immediately!

The Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Web site now has a secure page to review and update this information – with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Go to www.thrivent.com and click on Your Accounts. Enter your User ID and Password (first-time users will need to complete an easy one-time registration) to access the My Accounts page, which provides a comprehensive financial summary of your Thrivent Financial products.

Click “Edit My Page” and a screen will appear showing your name, address, phone number(s), e-mail, church membership information and more. Click on the “Update” link to change any wrong or outdated information, such as where you have church membership.

You also can review and update information on other Thrivent Financial members who reside in your household (e.g., spouse and children).

If you do not have Internet access but need to update information, please contact your Thrivent Financial representative or Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and they will be happy to help you.
