Chapter leadership board elections for 2006 for the Pines Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are scheduled as follows:


Lutheran Church of the Living Word - Laurinburg: Sunday, November 6, 2005
Our Saviour Lutheran Church - Southern Pines: Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005
St. James Lutheran Church - Southern Pines: Sunday, November 6, 2005
St. Paul Lutheran Church - Hamlet: Sunday, November 13, 2005
St. Paul Lutheran Church - Pinehurst: Sunday, November 13, 2005


As a member of the Pines Chapter, you can go to any of these churches to vote.  Ballots are available at the above locations.  Voting is usually available following a service.  Please note that there are several open positions on the ballot for which we do not have a candidate.  Please give consideration to these positions and if you are able to assume responsibility for a position, please fill in your name and telephone number on your ballot.  You can obtain information about the positions and about the Pines Chapter by calling Henry Fuhrmann, President, at 910-695-0509 or by e-mail at henryf@pinehurst.net.


If you received this letter, then, according to Thrivent Financial, you are a member of the Pines Chapter.  If you attend a Lutheran Church other than those listed above, there is a Thrivent Financial Chapter associated with that church.  You can transfer your Chapter membership to that chapter by calling Thrivent Financial on 1-800-236-3736.  It would be helpful if you were able to obtain the chapter name and number before you call.  Contact the church for help in obtaining this information.


If you do not attend a Lutheran Church, you are still eligible to vote and paticipate in our Chapter activities.  Please contact me and I will try and get a ballot to you.

National Board of Directors Election - You Get to Vote!
 
This year, we are again conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is a benefit of your membership in our fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials. Please participate - your vote matters!
