It is time to elect the officers for the Pines Chapter for 2007. This year, several of the officers are not eligble since they have reached their four year limit. As you may know from past elections, some positions are required and some are optional. We are able to present candidates for all of the required positions and candidates for some of the optional positions. This year we have a new position - Thrivent Builds Chapter Specialist.

All voting must be in person. Voting will take place at each church in our chapter as described below:

        Living Word Lutheran Church, Laurinburg - Sunday, October 22
        Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Southern Pines - Sunday, October 22
        St. James Lutheran Church, Southern Pines - Sunday, October 15
        St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hamlet - Sunday, October 29
        St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pinehurst - Sunday, October 15

You are receiving this letter because Thrivent Financial has placed you in the Pines Chapter based on your zip code. If you are not attending any of these Lutheran Churches listed above, you are still eligible to vote. Please stop in at any of the above locations to vote.

National Board of Directors Election - Your Vote Matters!

This year, we are conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is one of the many benefits you have as a member of a fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials. Please participate - your vote matters!
