IT IS TIME TO ELECT THE 2009 OFFICERS FOR THE PINES CHAPTER. As you may know from past elections, some positions are required and some are optional. We are able to present candidates for all of the required positions and a candidate for one of the optional positions.
All voting must be done in person by adult benefit and associate members of The Pines Chapter. Voting will take place before and after worship at each church in our chapter on the dates listed:
Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Southern Pines, on Saturday & Sunday, October 4 & 5
Living Word Lutheran Church, Laurinburg, on Sunday, October 5
St. James Lutheran Church, Southern Pines, Sunday, October 12
St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pinehurst, Sunday, October 12
St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hamlet, Sunday, October 19
As a member of The Pines Chapter, you can go to any of these churches to vote. A ballot follows on page 2 for you to complete and bring with you; ballots will also be available at the above locations. Note that there are several open positions on the ballot for which we do not have a candidate. Please give consideration to these positions and if you are able to assume responsibility for a position, fill in your name and telephone number on your ballot. Mark you calendar now for THE PINES CHAPTER ANNUAL LUNCHEON on November 16, 1:00 p.m. The Country Club of Whispering Pines will provide a choice of Chicken Picatta or Beef Stroganoff with salad, veggies, rolls and dessert. Reservations with your meal choice are required and must be received by November 10 by calling or e-mailing Debbie Schumm (see above). Directions to the luncheon will be provided if needed. Come to celebrate another great year in The Pines Chapter.
