The following officers are ready to serve you starting January 1, 2007:
Our chapter raised $2,737.00 for Thanksgiving Baskets. We received $2,737.00 from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to give us a total of $5,474.00 to purchase food for the needy. One hundred and fifty boxes were prepared for pick-up and delivery. Each basket contained a minimum of a frozen turkey, canned goods, flour, sugar, margarine, rice, dressing, potatoes, apples, oranges, bread, and dessert. The baskets went to individual families as well as Community Welcome House in Newnan and Harmony House in LaGrange. Thanks to all who provided names of recipients, gave money, bought food, filled boxes, loaded vehicles, and/or delivered boxes to make this project successful.
