You're a member with a voice. Let's hear it. |
| | | This year, we are again conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is a benefit of your membership in our fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials. | | | | |

HELP WANTED -- As you will note, there is no nominee for the Records Director (secretary) position. Thrivent requires all chapters to have the first five listed positions filled in order to get any funding. If we do not get a volunteer to fill this slate and get elected by our members, we will get NO FUNDS from Thrivent. That means we will not get approximately $6,000 for community projects (Christmas Eve dinner for needy Oconee individuals, Oconee A.I.D., Biggerstaff, United Appeals diaper fund, Little Lambs Preschool, Foothills Pregnancy Center, Hospice, etc.) and $2,000 for operating funds (used to purchase cups, napkins, placemats, baptismal medallions, etc., for each church). Since this is a required elected position, your name will have to be on the ballot so that our members can cast a vote for you.
PLEASE CALL DAVE LEWIS AT 864-944-6580 TO VOLUNTEER!
