2007 will be an exciting time for our members.


We have made application with Thrivent Builds for three Habitat for Humanity Houses for Avery, Buncombe, and Henderson Counties, and should know the results by November 15th.


Please vote for the Chapter Leaders who will be responsible for the stewardship of thousands of dollars to be spent in your Congregations and in your Communities.





National Board of Directors Election - You Get to Vote!
 
This year, we are again conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is a benefit of your membership in our fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials. Please participate - your vote matters!

Ballots are being mailed to benefit members; completed ballots need to be postmarked by Nov. 30
This year, three members will be elected to the Thrivent Financial Board of Directors for four-year terms. Last year’s election, which took place by mail, resulted in record participation, so Thrivent will again conduct the election via mail.  Official ballots will be mailed to benefit members beginning in late September.


Your right to vote is a unique privilege of being part of a fraternal benefit society. As benefit members, you get to help decide who serves on the governing board of their organization.


If you are a benefit member, please vote! Watch for your ballot in the mail.



The ballot package for benefit members contains a tear-off reply ballot, reply envelope and candidate biographies.



For votes to be counted, they must be postmarked by Nov. 30
