Attached is information about Care In Regions Disaster Response Trips to the Gulf Coast. We have funds that were held back in case we suffered a disaster from hurricanes. Those funds are now available and have to be spent by the end of the year. We are putting together trips, or working with teams already planning a trip, to the Gulf Coast. $5,000 per team is available.

"Quoting" Lawson, We just got back from a two (plus) week trip and I remember you wanted to know when the dedication (BLESSING CEREMONY) for the Carl Holt House would be. Because several of our church members are leaving for Florida next week they requested it be done this Sunday, Oct. 29 following our Worship Service and Congregational Dinner at Church. This is a VERY late notice but it all happened of late even though they still have a lot of finishing touches left to do. They had asked me about a year ago to conduct the ceremony since I have been a volunteer helper out there for over three years. Sorry for the late notice. I DO WANT TO THANK YOU AND THE CHAPTER FOR HELPING ME SECURE THRIVENT MONIES TO PUSH (SP)THE PROJECT TOWARD COMPLETION. Without this help and a host of volunteer hours they would not now be living in their new home. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! from me and the Holts. They are SO grateful.. Carl is finally doing much better after his accident at our church and his brush with death (twice) last December.
