CONGREGATIONAL COORDINATORS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Our records show that you are one of the three congregational coordinators for Thrivent from your congregation. We hope that the three of you will get together and talk about ways you can encourage others from your congregation to get involved in this and other member events. As an incentive, we are offering a door prize of $100 to the congregation with the most members present. We do ask that you pre-register so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone. All you need to do is gather your list of people who will plan to come, call Bubba Willis or Robin Huber at 782-3500 or Dot Mathias at 788-3095 with names. We will enjoy hotdogs and trimmings as well as homemade ice cream. (Special diet needs on request.) The theme will be international and we hope to have some special entertainment and a program by participants in the summer SPLASH program. They represent about ten different countries this year. Please make your reservations by July 6.

If you are not sure about your role as a congregational coordinator for Thrivent, talk with others in your congregation or call one of the chapter leaders listed on the web site or one listed below. If you are no longer able to serve in this role, please help your congregation make a new selection and update their records on the Thrivent web site for leaders. Remember, each congregation can receive about $1300 from Thrivent for a ministry project. However, the guidelines state that there should be three active coodinators in the congregation. Please help us, help yourselves, and help your congregation as we develop the most accurate records possible.
