THRIVENT BUILDS AT WORK IN NEW HANOVER
Our Thrivent Builds project kicked off on February 16th with a meeting of the Congregational Champions from each church and the Thrivent Builds Chapter Specialist Dan Dresher. Our chapter was to raise $11,340 to help build a new house with Habitat for Humanity. Ground breaking was held July 12th. Church members along with Habitat for Humanity and friends are now working  on the home for Mr & Mrs. Rios and their five children. Help build this house and celebrate with the family the work of the people and the work of our God.

WHAT COULD YOUR CHURCH DO WITH $1300?
MOST of our churches still have money available for their use from Thrivent. You can hold a fund raiser, a dinner, a yard sale, any number of things to raise the needed funds to receive the supplemental funds from Thrivent, and follow the stewardship concepts that have been set before us. Thrivent enjoys giving out that money. We just need to do our part to get it. What does your church need to replace? What does your youth group plan to do? Get the Thrivent people together and have fun raising money. Ask your council for help in deciding how the money could be used.

JOIN HANDS DAY
