Dan Dresher, our Thrivent Builds Specialist, says that the house is finished on the outside. September 27 the crew from Kure Memorial and Water of Life will prep and prime the inside walls; October 4 the finish painting will be done by St Matthew; October 11 the porches and hardware will be put on by St Paul. Lunches of course will be provided by those assigned. The big day of course is the dedication.
On November 2 the house will be dedicated at 2 PM. All workers, helpers, lunch preparers, financial givers, chapter members are encouraged to attend and celebrate with the family as they get the keys and move their family with five children into their new home. It will be a glorious day for them and a day to thank God for all hands that helped. The youth in our chapter under the leadership of Emily Clamser are preparing something special for the family.

This is the organization we work with to build the Thrivent Builds home. They are celebrating the start of their 100th Home. We congratulate them and all the families who have beautiful new homes to raise their families in.
