Please vote for next year's chapter leadership board. As a membership organization, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is unique to the financial services world in many ways. Our members choose who will represent them on the national board of directors governing the organization as well as choose their local chapter leadership board.

The election process is a very important way for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to demonstrate two required elements of a fraternal benefit society:

1. An active, viable chapter system that involves many members
2. A representative form of government.

Without this election process, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans would not qualify as a tax-exempt fraternal benefit society and would not be able to provide the benefits to needy individuals, congregations and communities that it does today.

Please exercise your right to vote in your Delaware County, PA Chapter's leadership board election.

National Board of Directors Election - You Get to Vote!

This year, we are again conducting the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans National Board of Directors election through the mail. If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. The opportunity to elect your Board of Directors is a benefit of your membership in our fraternal benefit society. Watch your mail in October for election materials. Please participate - your vote matters!

Elections will be held in conjunction with our COUNTRY BARBEQUE which will be held on Sunday, September 27th from 1 - 5 p.m. The barbeque will be held at the Redwood Community Playhouse located in Delaware County's Camp Upland Park, Upland, PA.

Directions: From Granite Run Mall go East on PA 352 (Middletown Road) to Brookhaven Road. At Brookhaven Road, turn right for approximately 2 miles to the park entrance. (Entrance to the park is just past the 7-11.

You are invited to bring a guest and are requested to bring a dessert to share. There will be Praise Bands from local congregations, kids games and prizes. The rest of the food and refreshments will be provided by the chapter.

A free will offering will be collected to benefit Delaware County Habitat for Humanity.
