What is the Cherry Tree Club?
The Cherry Tree Club is a preschool serving homeless and at-risk children in Mercer County, New Jersey. Every weekday, a bus transports children from shelters, temporary housing and motels and brings them to The Cherry Tree Preschool. Here, a child can learn and grow regardless of their family's ability to access or afford quality early childhood education.
The Cherry Tree Club wants to ensure that the joy and magic of childhood is not lost to homeless children. More specifically, The Cherry Tree Club aims to provide a loving and nurturing environment that allows the children to thrive and grow emotionally, socially, physically and cognitively.
On Wednesday, May 9, from 9am to 10pm there will be a BookFair at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at 3535 Route 1 South, Princeton, NJ. Supporters of the Cherry Tree Club make purchases the day of the bookfair in-store (using the Vouchers noted below, or online using the special bookfair ID number 10686665). Barnes & Noble will donated a percentage of that day’s in-store purchases to the Cherry Tree Club.
