The following are Hudson Valley NY Chapter Election dates, times and locations. Any Thrivent
member in the Hudson Valley NY Chapter can vote one time at any of the locations listed.
If anyone is interesting in being on the Chapter Board, please contact Stephen Färdig at (845) 338-
1559 or vze48gh2@verizon.net. Positions are still available. We can also appoint new members after
the elections, so please don't be shy.
November 1st - Christ Lutheran Church, 26 Mill Hill Road in Woodstock, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
November 8th - Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 22 Livingston Street,Kingston, 9:30 - 11:00 am
November 15th - St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 31 W. Main Street, Port Jervis, 9:30-10:30 and 11:30 - 12:00 noon
November 22nd - St. John's Lutheran Church, 55 Wilbur Boulevard Poughkeepsie, 10:15 -11:00 am.

If you are a benefit member (generally the insured or annuitant on an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Financial, or premerger AAL or LB), you are eligible to vote and will receive the mailing. CARE ABOUNDS IN COMMUNITIES®
Chapters of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are organized geographically and bring together members
to help others and help their community. Through the Care Abounds in Communities® program (CAIC),
Thrivent Financial provides funding to members like you who form community service teams to conduct
fund-raising activities and/or hands-on service activities to help individuals, families and qualified not-forprofit organizations. Contact a member of our chapter leadership board for assistance in getting started.
In 2009 we have supported several projects that have helped families and children, a fund raiser for
camperships to Koinonia Camp, Crop Walk (World Hunger) project,and the Faithful Folk ministry to
name a few. BUT, we still have funds available. Apply to the Hudson Valley NY Chapter. Contact a
Board Member listed above or go to http://www.lutheransonline.com/hudsonvalleynychapter for an
application.
ATTENTION CONGREGATION COORDINATORS!
Again this year the Hudson Valley Chapter is offering each congregation up to $100 to spend for
Thrivent paper products - cups, plates, napkins. For a list of paper products to to www.thrivent.com
and look under The Store. Each congregation would order, pay for product(s) and then send receipt to
Robert Callahan at 27 Holly Hills Drive, Woodstock NY 12498-1711. This is for Thrivent paper products only. If order exceeds $100, only $100 will be reimbursed. If you have questions, please feel free to
