It was the first Sunday in July 1955 that the Rev. Dallas Gibson
and several members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Lauderdale,
met to praise God and establish a new Lutheran congregation in the
western part of the city. They met in what is now the Fellowship
Hall. In September 1955 a kindergarten was begun with Mrs Gibson as
the teacher.
