This stained glass window, made by local Cape Cod artisans, beautifies the sanctuary of St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Cape Cod. St. Peter's was founded in 1979 as a mission of the Lutheran Church in America and was chartered in August of 1979; 139 people signed the original charter. After the congregation worshipped at the South Harwich Methodist Church for five years, the current building was dedicated in September 1984. Since its beginning St. Peter's has evolved into a community conscious congregation of nearly 500, and are active members of The New England Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
