All are welcome at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. HOLY COMMUNION: Lutherans believe that the crucified and risen Savior is present in, with and under the bread and wine. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at St. Matthews on the first and third Sundays of each month and on special church festivals like Easter and Christmas. The communion table is the Lord's Table and is open to all baptized Christians who believe that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior.
BAPTISM: The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is by request of the family and/or the individual. Our pastor will meet with the family or person individually or as an Adult Inquirer Class prior to the baptismal services. For scheduling a date or for additional information, please contact the church office.
BECOMING A MEMBER: If you are interested in becoming a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, please contact the church office. We accept members through baptism, confirmation, a letter of transfer or release or by reaffirmation of faith.
