Welcome to the home page of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church of Newark, California. We are a congregation in the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Our mission is to be Christ-centered; to become a larger, more inclusive community by reaching out to the churched and unchurched; and to intentionally promote the Good News and create an atmosphere that encourages enlightenment and nurtures and empowers all members for ministry.

We are a Reconciling in Christ congregation.
