Immanuel Lutheran School’s educational programs extend from a preschool program for 4 year olds through eighth grade. In addition to the academic and religious studies, Immanuel students have many additional opportunities for learning and extra curricular activities.

• Art is taught in all grades by an art teacher.
• Band instruction is provided by the local public school instructors. Students may participate in the Murphysboro Middle School band.
• Group music instruction for all children is provided by a music educator.
• Sallie Logan Public Library is within walking distance of Immanuel. This permits us to take advantage of that resource on a regular basis.
• Physical education program includes swimming and tumbling supervised by professionals at local facilities.
• Athletic program includes basketball, volleyball, track, and cheerleading.
• PreSchool program for 4 year old children includes age appropriate and hands on learning activities. Exploring numbers, letters and the world around us, helps make learning fun and prepares children for kindergarten.
  
• After school program of supervised activities is provided for all students who attend Immanuel Lutheran School who desire to participate.

Transportation
Students who live in the Murphysboro Unit District 186 can ride the public school buses to Immanuel.
