Parent Involvement

A well-established organization called the Parent Teacher League (P.T.L.) provides support through interaction and involvement of its members. Comprised of parents, teachers, and members of Immanuel, the group identifies needs and enhances programs through support and fund raising efforts.

Research shows that parental involvement provides a better learning experience for students and teachers. The P.T.L. is very active in awareness activities such as health and safety issues, supplemental education, and public relations events. Fundraising and annual special events include:

• a fall festival with games and food
• Valentine’s Day dinner and dance
• Lutheran School Week
• sporting event concessions
• drug awareness week
• school holiday parties
• Apple Festival Parade
• back-to-school hayride and cookout
• much, much more!
