2009 LWML National Convention

LWML National Convention, June 25-28, 2009, Portland, Oregon

Delegate Orientation -- Thursday, June 25, 3-4 p.m.

Caucuses -- 4-5 p.m. or at another time

Registration costs: $180 full; $110 reduces(spouse)

Hotel -- Double Tree ($147 plus 12.5% hotel tax) nightly rate for 1-4 in room

      Hilton: ($149 plus 12.5% hotel tax) nightly rate for 1-4 in room

      Donna Brisbois has reserved 15 rooms, double occupancy at La Quinta Convention Center for our district -- walking distance -- at $120 a night

Catered Meals served in the convention center -- 2 lunches, 2 dinners (all purchased separately) Total cost: 4 meals $111.00 includes gratuity, no tax on food

Transportatiion from airport to hotels -- $2.05 on the MAX light rail, $.85 for seniors

Servant Activities -- $5.00 per participant (Thursday)

Pledge Walk/Exercise -- $10.00 per participant (Saturday morning)

Transportation options:
      AMTRAK: Group rate for 30 seats -- $340.00 (Leave Omaha June 21; arrive Portland June 24, 3:40 p.m. Leave Portland June 28 at 2:25 p.m.; arrive Omaha July 1, 6:00 a.m.(Need 10% from District by Sept. 17 to reserve; refundable until May)

      Air Fare: $633 lowest group rate at this time!

      40-45 passengers $450.00
      36-39 passengers $498.00
      30-35 passengers $595.00
