Read through the First Article, read the Second Article

Read the book of Jonah (it's 4 chapters)

Come ready to talk about it in class.  But, before you come to class

To show me you've read it before you get to class...



Please email me with one sentence answers to these questions:
1) Specifically, Tell me Jonah was supposed to do...
2) Tell me the name of the group of people that needed Jonah
3)  What did Jonah do when God told him the first time?
4)  What happened to Jonah?
5) Tell me more about Jonah's complaining after he got back...
6) Tell me the reason why God kept talking to Jonah even though he was behaving badly....
7) What did God want Jonah understand about those people?

What does Jonah story tell you about how you live your life?  Do you always do what you're told?  Have you ever said "No!"  What happened?  What did you  learn about Jonah life that reminded about people today in this world?  About you?

1) Read the book (30-45 minutes)
2) Answer the questions in sentence form - number them, I should have 9 when you're done (15 minutes)
3) 1 paragraph that answers the questions I gave you...(15 minutes)

Total time on this homework will be one hour to one hour and 15 minutes
